Candle Care
Candle Care
How to care for your candles.
The First Burn
- When you burn our soy candles for the first time make sure the wax melts to the edge of the container (approximately 2-4 hours depending on the size of the vessel).
- This will give you a clean melt and will prolong the life of your candle and reduce tunnelling.
General Care
- Keep the wick trimmed to 0.5 cm tall and keep wax clear of debris.
- Do not allow the melt pool to extend all the way to the bottom of the glass as this could loosen the wick sticker and allow it to move – potentially causing heat issues.
- Place on a stable surface away from flammable objects. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Never leave a candle unattended.
Scent Throw
- Every time you light your soy candle burn for at least one hour but not longer than 4 hours.
- Burning the candle in a room appropriate to the size of the candle will assist the scent throw in filling the room.
Candle Storage
- If you’re not burning your candle leave in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
Diffuser Care
How to care for your diffuser.
Create your Diffuser
- Unscrew the cap and remove the white protective cover from the cap. Replace the cap on the bottle.
- Dip the reeds in the fragrance and turn up the other way. We suggest ‘’flipping the reeds’’ twice a week for maximum scent enjoyment.
- Use a coaster under your diffuser to protect your surface.
- Do not light the reeds.
General Tips
- Place in a high traffic area as this encourages air circulation and lifts the fragrance.
- Flip the reeds twice a week to freshen the fragrance, taking care not to spill the fragrance oil.
- Please contact us for replacement oils.
